Jack has lived and done business in Commerce, Texas since 1947, where he owned and operated a small chain of variety stores. Jack established Jack Chapin Real Estate in 1963.  Subsequently, he sold the variety stores in order to dedicate himself to the real estate industry on a full-time basis.  He was later joined by his son and son-in-law, Terry, as the firm grew. 

Jack is a fully licensed real estate broker. He is married with three children.  He and his wife, Lois, own and reside at the Chapin House Bed & Breakfast, near Texas A & M University - Commerce.

 Jack is a  member of the First Baptist Church, and has been a member of the Lion's Club for 50 years. 

Terry is a licensed real estate broker who has lived in Commerce for nearly 25 years.  A graduate of Texas A&M University - Commerce, formerly known as East Texas State University, Terry ran a successful appliance repair business in town before dedicating himself to the real estate business on a full-time basis.  He has been selling real estate since 1977. Terry also plays guitar with a local music group called Dr. Doctor.

Terry and wife, Debbie, have two children. He is a member of the First Baptist Church, in Commerce.  Terry's work in real estate sales occupies a good deal of his time.
